KRINA KREATIONS

Hand sculpted by Kris Hamrick

Tamrin –Baskin' -77

This lovely mermaid is a relist ...her winning bidder could not fulfill her layaway plan. So her loss is your gain!

Tamzin took the talisman from the fairy godmother. It began to glow and resonate in her hand. “But, how is this going to help me?” When Tamzin looked, up the godmother was gone. “I have never been anywhere; done anything. Now I am supposed to take this thing and find something. I don’t even know what that something is! Ok you silly thing, show me where we are supposed to go.” As Tamzin turned the talisman over in her hands, she noticed it glow faintly in her left hand. She decided to hold it at arms length. In the westward direction, it glowed so brightly Tamzin shielded her eyes. “Well, I guess this is the way you want me to go.” And this is how Tamzin’s adventure begins…

The waves hit against the shore in musical rhythm. Sun shining high in the sky and light bounced off the ripples of the sea. One lone soul basked on the beach reveling in the orchestra of the mighty ocean.  Her aqua hair floating on the light waves that creped up the sand. Her pearl encrusted outfit caught the sun light. Tamrin loved everything about the water and being a mermaid. She dreamed of swimming the ocean, her adventures with whales, watching schools of fish go by. To her there was no greater joy than to be who she is and basking on this beach living in this moment. Tamrin enjoyed the moment at hand, a luxury that few ever get to experience and still fewer who appreciate it.

Tamrin is another one-of-a-kind small sculpture and No. 77 from Krina’s Kreations. She is 11 inches to the tip of her tail to the top of her head. Tamrin is made of polymer clay, each detail is hand crafted by Kris Hamrick. Tamrin’s hair is 100% natural mohair, hand-dyed; each lock is carefully set to frame her face. Tamrin is hand painted and sealed with the clay slightly blushed. Many hours went into creating her magnificent tail. Each work from Krina’s Kreations comes with a certificate of authenticity including her story and the artist’s signature.
