Oluremi – Perfect place – 60

A beautiful season is upon us, I am glad that I am able add my work to this holiday time. I hope that my creations brighten this special time of year for all who view them.

Oluremi watched as the family finished bringing out all the holiday boxes of decorations. Oluremi loved this time of year. She loved the twinkling lights and the smells in the air. Oluremi peered from behind a house plant as they started to decorate the tree. They sang and laughed as each ornament went up. What happiness could be brought by family togetherness? As they were decorating a glass ball fell out of a box and rolled near the plant. Oluremi flew to the ornament and sat holding it looking for the perfect place to add it to the tree. She peeked from behind the red glass ball and saw the location for the treasure. Being very careful not to be spotted Oluremi flew to the top of the tree and placed the ball right under the glowing star. A smile lit up Oluremi’s face as she heard the family admiring the glass ball and wondering who had placed it upon the tree.

Oluremi, meaning God comforts me, is another one-of-a-kind small sculpture and No. 60 from Krina Kreations. She is 4.5 inches to the tip of her head, 11 inches if she were standing. Oluremi is made of polymer clay, each detail is hand crafted by Kris Hamrick. Oluremi’s hair is hand dyed 100% natural mohair; each lock is carefully set to frame her face. The wings are removable and carefully designed. Oluremi is hand painted and sealed with the clay slightly blushed. Each work from Krina Kreations comes with a certificate of authenticity including her story and the artist’s signature.
