Meranice – "Making a Stand"– No. 56

Tamzin took the talisman from the fairy god mother. It began to glow and resonate in her hand. “But, how is this going to help me?” as Tamzin looked up the god mother was gone. “I have never been anywhere done anything. Now I am supposed to take this thing and find something. I don’t even know what that something is! Ok you silly thing show me where we are supposed to go.” As Tamzin turned the talisman over in her hands, she notices it glowed faintly in her left hand. She decided to hold it at arms length in the westward direction it glowed so brightly Tamzin shielded her eyes. “Well, I guess this is the way you want me to go.” And this is how Tamzin’s adventure begins…

Katelynne explained to the group that she thought the best way out of the swamp was to go to the west. This would be the slower route but a saver one. Meranice, Nesle’s sister, kneed up and shouted, “That is crazy Katelynne! It will takes weeks to go that way instead of days going to the North.” “But, Meranice, the safety of the group is what is important here.” Katelynne pleaded. “No, I have to make a stand! This group needs to make it out of the swamp as quickly as possible their journey is time sensitive!” Meranice placed her hands on her hips and stated her case. “The North may be more dangerous but nessesary,” Meranice continued. Katelynne pondered Meranices passionate demand. “Ok, Meranice you are right we need speed and we will just have to be more careful.”
