Evelyn–All about the Attitude -65

Hello everyone

2004 has been a wonderful year full of new experiences and exploration. I am thankful for all the growth I have done as an artist and the support I have been given. I appreciate all of the positive emails and look forward to an even better year in 2005. Evelyn is actually my last fairy of 2004 and is dated as such. I came down with the flu which made it impossible to post her before my Holiday travels. I hope you enjoy her as much as I do. I think her spunky attitude is just wonderful.

Tamzin took the talisman from the fairy god mother. It began to glow and resonate in her hand. “But, how is this going to help me?” as Tamzin looked up the god mother was gone. “I have never been anywhere done anything. Now I am supposed to take this thing and find something. I don’t even know what that something is! Ok you silly thing show me where we are supposed to go.” As Tamzin turned the talisman over in her hands, she notices it glowed faintly in her left hand. She decided to hold it at arms length in the westward direction it glowed so brightly Tamzin shielded her eyes. “Well, I guess this is the way you want me to go.” And this is how Tamzin’s adventure begins…

Tamzin and her comrades enjoyed the coziness of the evergreen trees and waited for the storm to pass. Night fell and the soft glow of will-o-wisps filled the clear starry night. As the group talked, they were interrupted by the fast landing of another fairy. The group watched a raven headed fairy brush off the snow from her dress. “What are you looking at? Haven’t you ever seen a dark fairy before?” Her tone was dripping with attitude as her green eyes flashed in the fire light. “May we help you?” Tamzin inquired. “I am looking for Tamzin. Tori told me that she would need my help soon and that I must find her.” “Oh, you know Tori?” “Yes, she is my cousin. Are you Tamzin or what?” Her spunky confidence was starting to grow on the group. They knew that the dark fairies were a good force to have around. They seemed to know all the tricks of the forest while still working for good. “Please, join us. I am Tamzin. We look forward to adding you to our group.” Evelyn took a seat by the fire and told stories of Tori’s childhood.
